Salers At Beef Expo Ireland 2008

Five classes of top quality Salers cattle made judge David Boyd’s job of picking a winner a difficult one.

The Champion Female and Overall Salers Champion on the day was Ulena owned by Co. Cavan breeder Brian Halton . Brian was also owner of the Reserve female champion and overall reserve Salers Champion Corlurgan Gittle he toped of a great day with picking up the Senior heifer class with his heifer Betty.

The Champion male was Lataster Hector owned by Co. Cavan Breeder Brendan Clarke.

The first class of the day was the All Ireland Final Salers Bull Calf Championship. This was won by Co. Cavan breeder Brendan Clarke with his bull Lataster Hector .
