Our Chairman Michael McKeon was invited to France to the farm of Jean François BEYLE in Apchon(Cantal) to train young Salers breeders in the skills of halter training, show preparation and showing of  Salers cattle. They will have to put into practice what they have learned and show a heifer in there own class at the national show in France.

There was an attendance of 17 young breeders on the day made up of 13 boys and 4 girls aged between 10 and 17 years.

It is envisaged that something similar will be set up here in Ireland with young Irish breeders.
